Chelsea has been a “gearhead” as long as he can remember. Chelsea grew up in nearby Bisbee and graduated from Bisbee High School. He then attended UTI (UniversalTechnical Institute) in Phoenix Arizona and earned an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology. He returned to Bisbee and worked for O’Rielly Chrysler, Plymouth Dodge, and Mazda as a technician. By 1990 Chelsea had earned Master Tech status with ASE, Chrysler Corporation and Mazda Motors of America. In 1993 Chelsea married his high school sweetheart Tracey. Chelsea attended Cochise Community College majoring in Welding and Drafting Technology. Chelsea and Tracey moved to Phoenix in 1994 so he could complete his degree at ASU (Arizona State University). Chelsea graduated from ASU (magna cum lade) in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Industrial Management. Chelsea and Tracey returned the Sierra Vista area and Chelsea began work as a Service Manager/Technician. With encouragement from family, friends, and clients Chelsea rounded up some talent and opened Desert Automotive in January 2010. Chelsea’s interests include spending time with family, drag racing and working with anything mechanical. Chelsea’s other business interests include PSI (Performance Systems Incorporated) www.psisuperchargers.com. Chelsea enjoys traveling on weekends to drag races all over the country, to race, and represent PSI products. |
| Tracey has her share of experience in the business world. Tracey owned and operated a beauty salon in Bisbee and gave that up when she and Chelsea moved to Phoenix in 1994. Tracey then went to work for Southwest Airlines while the couple resided in the Phoenix area. A fter the two moved back to Sierra Vista in 1997 Tracey joined Terry Pohl’s team at Globetrotter Travel, where she worked as a travel agent. Tracey joined the Desert Automotive team right from the beginning and she was kicking and screaming all the way. Tracey handles everything at Desert Automotive that requires details and a woman’s touch like decorating, bookkeeping, payroll administration, cleaning, etc, Tracey is best at keeping the Desert Automotive crew in line. | |

Clint‘s roots are deeply embedded in Cochise County and the Sierra Vista area. Clint’s family has resided in the Cochise County area for over 100 years. Clint graduated from nearby Tombstone High School and married his high school sweetheart, Misty. Clint attended Cochise Community College from 1997 to 2001. Clint worked for Sears and was the Hardware/home improvement manager until January 2002. He then went to work for Enterprise Rent A Car and worked his way up the ladder and held the position of Area Manager until January 2010. In January 2010 Clint began the next chapter of his life joining the Desert Automotive team. Clint and Misty have been blessed with two kids. Clint’s hobbies include spending time with his family, hunting, anything outdoors, coaching baseball and working with community organizations like The Huachucans. |

Tom has been in the Automotive Service and Repair industry since 1966. Tom’s automotive career began at the corner service station during his high school days in Utica Michigan. Tom’s career continued at a Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury dealership in Mt. Clemens, MI where he worked as a technician. By 1980 Tom had decided that he would seek out a home away from the harsh Michigan winters and moved to Bisbee Arizona. In 1982 Tom opened Warren Service Center in the Warren suburb of Bisbee. For over 28 years, Tom served the Bisbee community with honest and professional automotive service and repair. In June 2010 Chelsea and the Team at Desert Automotive proudly welcomed Tom and his many long term clients that travel daily from Bisbee area to have their vehicles serviced and repaired. Tom spends most of his spare time with his family, wife Sue, and three children. On a few occasions every year Tom finds time to pursue his passion of drag racing. Tom competes mostly in Tucson with his supercharged tube chassis Vega. All in all Tom is just one of those honest low maintenance guys that everyone loves to have around. |

Rene started in the automotive industry back in 2002 while attending Buena High School in Sierra Vista. His initial experience began in a new car dealership and with his experience, automotive training and education from Cochise Community College, Rene has grow into a great all around, all makes, all models, ASE certified technician. There is nothing Rene can’t figure out and repair. Rene is the shop clown and always ready to crack a joke and lend a helping hand. Rene is one of the original Desert Automotive team members. In his spare time Rene can be found spending time with his family or playing basket ball, softball, hunting or riding motorcycles. |

Aric started in the automotive industry in 1995 at a family owned shop. He is an ASE certified under car specialist (brakes, steering and suspension, and exhaust). Aric has many years of experience with welding, tube bending and chassis fabrication. Aric joined Desert Automotive in December of 2009 and brought a whole slew of customers with him. Aric is the Desert Automotive in house “Diesel Guy” and gladly accepts any and all diesel challenges. Aric is fun to have around the shop, and he is the guy that is always smiling even when the sky is falling. Aric enjoys hanging with his family, coaching football and desert racing. |
| Jeff has been a car guy, gearhead, enthusiast, and ASE certified technician since 1989. He is the in house Mopar guy, and can handle any make or model thrown his way. Jeff likes drivabilty challenges and prides himself as the guy to figure them out. Jeff occupies the East side of the shop with Aric and he works on his share of diesels, tractors, RV’s, and has never run from a fabrication job. Jeff is a no-nonsense guy and everyone is aware of it. Jeff is also an original member of the Desert Automotive team. In his spare time Jeff enjoys spending time with his son and working on his Mopars. | |

Brad has been in the Auto Repair industry since 1982. His experience includes small independent shops, new car dealerships and Brad is an original member of the Desert Automotive team. Brad is a great skilled and experienced ASE certified technician. Brad is our in-house “import guy” and applies his detailed methodical thought process to every import challenge thrown his direction. Brad is the guy that keeps up with world politics and can usually shed light on the “current happenings.” In his spare time Brad enjoys his hobby of researching, locating and collecting Meteorites. |

Daniel began his automotive career washing cars at a new car dealership. Since that time Daniel has grown into a well rounded ASE certified technician. Daniel attended Cochise Community College majoring in Automotive Technology. Daniel is a man of few words (unless he is proding Rene) and he is the guy “always working.” Daniel gladly helps everyone and he is the guy the Desert Automotive team would like to clone, he knows no fear and successfully tackles every job thrown at him. Daniel is also an original member of the Desert Automotive team. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys working on his cars and racing at local SCCA events. |
